What's with all of the flowers and plants that I use for jewelry pictures? What do flowers have to do with sea glass? Well, let me tell you about it:) I started making sea glass jewelry while living in the Caribbean. I am half Puerto Rican on my mothers side and I come from a long Caribbean lineage and a strong island heritage.
In the islands flowers are in bloom year round and are constantly announcing their presence in the scheme of things. I started making jewelry decades ago while living in Puerto Rico. Tropical plants and flowers are like old friends to me. I keep them near me because they represent where I come from and they represent the tropical origin and soul of Out Of the Blue Sea Glass Jewelry.
We now live stateside on the gulf coast of Florida and the same plants that grow in the Caribbean not only grow here they thrive! A few years ago we tore out our front lawn and planted an indulgent abundance of plants instead. So now I introduce to you some of the plants and flowers from our garden that make the scene in our photo shoots!
